The Close is able to offer to you the facility to hold your wedding ceremony and celebrations in one of the Cotswolds most luxurious small hotels.

The Rooms

The Close has two luxurious rooms licensed to hold your wedding ceremony.

• The Garden Room with its splendid Adam Ceiling and full-length drapes can hold 30 guests. The setting offers views overlooking our immaculate stone walled garden with a central fountain and pond.
  
• The Overbury Suite was the original chapel for The Close when it was a private residence. With many of the original characteristics still intact it makes a very special venue for your ceremony. The room can hold up to 70.
  

The Reception

Celebration drinks for you and your guests can either be taken on the Terrace in the Marquee or in the elegance of the glass roofed Red Room. Whilst your guests are becoming acquainted, our Cotswold Stone Walled Garden provides you with the ideal backdrop for your memorable photographs. We also have many suitable indoor settings.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Garden Room, Marquee and Restaurant all overlook and have access to the garden and Red Room. Each room can be used individually for the smaller party or together to create one large room with a central area for the Top Table. The maximum number of guests The Close Hotel can accommodate comfortably for a seated wedding breakfast is:

• Marquee 40

Our Marquee adjoins our Restaurant.

The Overbury Suite was formally the private family chapel and has been restored maintaining the original Pulpit and Gallery. It is located at the rear of the hotel and has its own separate entrance from the car park.
